OwnWord is a limited public beta and Research Preview. Please use it as one source of context, never as a verdict.

Research-preview results

OwnWord returns an experimental signal from a research model. The score reflects language patterns the model associates with its examples. It does not prove authorship, prove that AI was used, identify intent, establish misconduct, or state what percentage of a passage was written by AI.

Careful use

Do not use an OwnWord result as the sole basis for academic discipline, employment action, legal accusation, immigration decision, credit, housing, insurance, or another high-impact decision. Review drafts, sources, citations, context, writing history, and human judgment.

Access and analyses

A verified Google identity may receive one complimentary analysis. OwnWord may offer the Starter Pack, which contains 10 analyses for CA$4.99 as a one-time purchase. Analyses are added only after Stripe confirms payment. Analyses have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not a subscription.

Refunds and availability

If an analysis fails before a result is returned, OwnWord returns that analysis to your balance. Payments are handled through Stripe Checkout. If you have a purchase issue, contact support with the email used for your OwnWord account. OwnWord is a beta service and may change, pause, or end without a service-level commitment.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the passages you submit and for ensuring you have the right to submit them. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal information. Do not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass limits, or use OwnWord for harmful, unlawful, or automated high-impact decisions.
